Welovekaoru is proud to announce their collective boutique, Luna & Curious has moved from Brick Lane to a larger space on Calvert Avenue by Arnold Circus, Shoreditch.

The new store is part of the Boundary Estate - one of the first council housing schemes in the world. Luna & Curious has taken over a once squatted in building and has lovingly restored the space with their unique signature style whilst celebrating it’s original Victorian features. Beautiful traditional floor tiles accentuate the contemporary gallery space; an original cast iron central heating system sits curiously in the corner, for the inquisitive customer there lies a hidden treasure each month! The curious theme continues throughout the store with translucent white umbrella sculptures swinging from the ceilings and stuffed creatures peering down from the walls.

The larger shop has allowed room for more exciting new designers to showcase their work including beautiful hand embroidered jewellery by Jennie Sharman Cox, hand knitted baby clothes by the Miniature Knit Shop and stuffed animals by Finch; as well as the old favourites from the three owners; jewellery by Rheanna Lingham and handmade bone china tableware by Polly George and welovekaoru. Not forgetting the bestsellers: paper eyelashes by Paperself, darkly humorous jewellery by momocreatura and handprinted tights by Les Queues de Sardines.

Luna & Curious also offers the opportunity for the gallery space to be hired and curated by the three founders, Rheanna Lingham, Polly George and Kaoru Parry.

The current exhibition in the gallery is The Amos Estate - Photographs of a squatting community form Rotherhithe SE16, taken in the mid 1980’s by photographer Gavin Parry. Click here to see his work.
